KAIST Institute is a state-of-the-art research center that will be responsible for the future of KAIST. It has boldly escaped the paradigm of a normal research center design while adhering to the academy’s intrinsic functions and aggressively accepted the natural environment of the campus their various and creative scholarly activities. Although it is a research center, KAIST Institute gives a bright, refreshing first impression instead of a stiff, dark impression and is evaluated to have presented a new alternative for research center construction.
