He believes that, in the age of AI, the essential qualities of an architect lie in integration and insight. While fields such as law, medicine, and the arts are rapidly being transformed—or even replaced—by artificial intelligence, architecture retains its relevance through the complexity of relationships it must negotiate. He views diverse, project-based design experience as the foundation for developing the integrative thinking and insight required to navigate such complexity. His current practice focuses primarily on mixed-use architecture, pursuing designs that integrate the boundaries between residential and non-residential programs, as well as between development value and public interest.
